Welcome
back and Happy New Year!
Weather conditions:
If the majority of schools are closed, we will probably be closed, too.
You can always call the answering machine to
double check.
Please remember to leave all boots OUTSIDE the
classrooms, by the coat racks.
Children can leave a pair of slippers inside
their tote bags for the classroom, so you won’t have to lace up their shoes
at the class.
Remember to always label clothes.
Gloves can be kept inside the children’s sleeves
so they’re not lost.
Martin Luther King Day:
No school!
We’ve previously had low attendance in the past,
so we follow the school schedules and have the day off!
Valentine’s Party!
We will have a valentine exchange this year!
Feel free to bring small baggies filled with
treats to hand out to the other students this year!
If
you’d like to bring in Valentine’s Day cards, make sure they’re only labeled
with your child’s name: “Happy Valentine’s Day!
Love, your student”.
If
you would like to stay for the party, we love to have helpers.
Please remember that we do not allow siblings
(see the December newsletter for further explanations).
We will be having specials snacks, but we won’t
have a sign-up list as we did for Christmas.
Just let me know what you’d like to bring in.
We’d love to have some cookies, Rice Krispie
treats and even fruit!
This year, Valentine’s Day is on a Sunday, so we
will have ours on February 10 (M/W class) and February 12 (M/W/F class).
Conferences:
We will be having conferences in February.
We will not have our regular class time, but we
will assign each parent a time during those hours to come in and discuss
your child’s progress.
Each conference is approximately 10 minutes
while we go through some work and our observations on your child’s progress.
During this time, your child and any other
siblings are welcome to come in and play while we have our conferences.
If coming to the class is not possible, we can
do a conference via the phone.
We do not reschedule conferences.
In the past few years, we’ve had so many people
forget or cancel their conferences for some reason that it becomes very
difficult to find times to make them up.
Conferences will be on Wednesday, February 17.
Gymnastics!
Coming up in March will be our gymnastics field
trip!
Keep the date in mind (March 3) and more information
will come.
Taxes:
If you are married with both spouses working
outside the home, you may write off Noah’s
2010-2011 School Year:
We’ll soon be taking enrollment for September!
The prices will be the same, as will the times
(M/W or M/W/F)
The large room will continue to be the same for
our 3 day/week program and the smaller room will be used for the 2/day a
week program.
We may have another parent’s day out program if
we have extra room.
Let your friends know about our school!
We offer a free week for our current families
who recommend us!
Remember, though, these need to be people new to
Noah’s
